More small stuff that you might like to know

Filter blog posts in complex ways (like "all posts labeled 'bread' (but excluding the word 'rye') plus all labeled 'cheese'").
How: Blogger boolean superpowers.

If you have a question or problem for the Blogger help community, be as clear and specific as possible, and include a link to your blog.
Google doesn't provide support, these are volunteers! Be nice.
Here's how to get helped.
Control where the title of a blog post breaks.
Most HTML will be stripped out of the
Title field, but you can write the
HTML entity for the nonbreaking
space
(in place of
regular spaces) between the words you want to keep together.
The line break
<br />
also works, but is
an inferior solution. (A line break can look great on one device and be
awkward on others.)
Rather, it's a static jpg of what the theme looks like unmodified.
If you modify it in any way, the "preview" will be replaced by the words "Theme preview is currently unavailable."
It feels kind of cheap, but it is not a bug and Google probably won't fix it.

Put hyperlinks in comments using HTML.
The form is
<a href="
[url.com]">
[anchor text]</a>
. For example, a link to this blog, from the anchor text "this blog," would
be formed as
<a href="
too-clever-by-half.blogspot.com
">this blog</a>

All Blogger accounts are Google accounts. Yes, even that blog you started in 1999 with a lycos email sign in.
Anything involving your account rather than your blog is in account settings, not Blogger settings.
These include recovery email and phone, which you should keep up to date or you'll be sorry.

I was rereading the page about Blogger's settings and I saw that the maximum number of authors is still 100; I would really like this number to be increased, as I made a theme that mimics a forum, and about 200 people could easily join it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a long shot, but the only way to suggest a change to Google is via Feedback (on the Help menu at Blogger).
